How do I set up a Facebook Fundraiser for my mullet?

If you wish to use Facebook to fundraise, you will need to create a Facebook fundraising page. This can be done by clicking the "Create a Facebook fundraiser" button on your Mullets For Mental Health dashboard. 

Do not add Facebook’s 'Donate' button to the posts that you share on Facebook because it will not link to your profile correctly.

To create a Mullets For Mental Health Facebook fundraiser:

  1. Log into your dashboard https://www.mulletsformentalhealth.org.au/login/event
  2. In the header banner click ‘Create A Facebook Fundraiser’ as per the image below.

3. Follow the prompts to create your Mullets For Mental Health fundraiser

4. Share with your friends on Facebook and remember to give a shout out to your donors to encourage further support.

Note: If you create a Facebook Fundraiser on Facebook directly (without following the steps from your dashboard), donations received will not appear on your fundraising page. Don't worry, your contributions are not lost – Black Dog Institute will still receive funds raised this way, and they will go towards the vital work of making a mentally healthier world for all Australians.
