Why do you have competitions/prizes? You should just put it towards the cause!

Great question and thanks for sharing your concerns.

 

Unlike some other NGOs which are government-funded, most of our work is funded competitively, either through grants, fee-for-service income and of course, through money raised in campaigns such as this one. We use prizing as a way to motivate and incentivise our Mullet community with prizes that align with the particular challenge. We find this also helps to engage and encourage new participants so we can raise as much as possible for mental health.
